As an active person well into the middle years of my life, I continue to have a passion for good health and embrace healthy habits that will last a lifetime. I want to share that passion and my insights with you, my followers. You can expect inspirational posts, healthy cooking ideas, and “How to” yoga videos. I will also bring retreat opportunities as well as workshops to help you begin your yoga journey, deepen it, or just escape from the day to day cares to focus on you and your yoga practice.

I attended Melanie’s  Yoga retreat held at Boulder Hot Springs.  It was a wonderful and refreshing experience. 

The lodge is quaint,  the hot springs are revitalizing and all of the extras (massage/ hike/ seating areas to visit or just reflect) are such a bonus!!

I had an absolutely amazing experience with Melanie Williams when I took her yoga workshop in March. It was a weekend yoga workshop starting Friday night and ending on Sunday at Boulder Hot Springs in MT. This instructor is so incredibly skilled, communicative, generous and absolutely engaging (funny too). The location is wonderful (Boulder Hot Springs), a healing and beautiful place and the combination of Melanie and the hot springs was transformative. That said, I would take a workshop with Melanie anywhere and hope to take another before too long. Her directions were always clear and easy to follow and her approach supportive, encouraging and cathartic. My body and soul felt refreshed, energized and I finished in a truly tranquil and restored state. She offered us other resources (reading material etc.), explained the poses really well and my body felt extraordinary afterwards. She uses a combination of types of yoga including restorative in the evenings which was great, and offered a beautiful meditation in the mornings.
