A Transformative Yoga and Sound Bath Experience

Begin the New Year with intention: a transformative yoga and sound bath experience designed to ground, restore, and inspire.  Join us on January 12th, 4:00pm, at Montana City Yoga (7 Wonder Rd., Montana City) to set mindful intentions for the year ahead, combining gentle, restorative yoga and the healing vibrations of sound.  Step into 2025 with clarity, purpose and peace.

Now meet Emily, your host for this experience:

Born and raised on a farm in Lewistown, MT, Emily Sweeney now resides in Helena and
shares music in various teaching and wellness capacities. Emily eared a cultural music
degree from Concordia College in Minnesota and a music therapy degree from St.
Mary-of-the-Woods in Indiana. While in Minnesota, Emily intensely studied Zen
meditation, yoga and Aikido (traditional Japanese martial art). With this unique
background of musical training and mind/body/spiritual practices, Emily teaches holistic
music lessons to individuals and small groups. As a board-certified music therapist,
Emily assists clients from all stages of life in meeting individualized therapeutic goals
through musical experiences. To keep her own musical chops up (and for fun!), Emily
plays piano for various choirs and groups around Helena.

Emily has recently begun offering sound baths, to provide accessible meditation
experiences and to educate others on the use of sound for introspection and self-
growth. Sound baths are a meditative experience where attendees are “bathed” in
sound waves and guided through meditation. Benefits of sound baths may include
increased relaxation, decreased stress and anxiety, increased awareness of inner self
and intuition, expanded awareness, and increased sense of well-being, and more.
Sound baths are rooted in ancient traditions and each experience is unique. A variety of
instruments may be used, such as crystal singing bowls, Tibetan bowls, chimes, tuning
forks, drums, and harps. Sound baths are open to everyone. Please speak with Emily in
advance if you have questions about the experience or concerns about participating.

Enjoy this experience for only $30. Register here.
